Joseph was invited to Mexico by his grandfather Jonathan Joestar, a vampire hunter. There he uncovered a hidden subterranean Nazi facility, where he studied a weird being dubbed a Pillar Man. The Pillar Man, by scientists dubbed Santana, tried to leave the installation, but Joseph was defeated. Joseph was later going to Rome where Pillar Men lived more. He encountered Caesar Zeppeli there, grandson of Jonathan’s mentor, William Zeppeli.
Three Pillar Men, Kars, Esidisi, and Wamuu met Caesar and Joseph. Joseph was easily vanquished, and in a month he asked for a return. Under his instructor Lisa Lisa, Caesar took him to train Ripple / Hamon.
Subsequently, Joseph was able to overcome Esidisi and wroth the Wamuu and Kars. Caesar has been murdered by Wamuu, afterward killed in fair combat by Joseph. After reaching the ultimate strength, Joseph beat Kars. Joseph lost his right Hand during this fight, but it was replaced by a robotic appendage by the German army.
He settled with his new wife, Suzie Q, after the struggle with the human race and produced a daughter named Holly. He traveled to visit Japan years later to Jotaro Kujo, his daughter and grandchild. Joseph recounted Jotaro’s development of a Booth. Later, they found out that Holly had also formed a stand that she ate. Joseph utilized his booth to find that Dio Brando was resurrected and had to be overthrown.
Joseph’s blood was drained by Dio in the last fight against Dio. His blood was transfused back to Joseph after Dio’s defeat to restore him.
Due to Jotaro’s request, Joseph returned to Japan. He met Josuke Higashikata, his unlawful kid, there. He also took an unseen infant, Shizuka Joestar.
Powers and Abilities
- Ripple/Hamon
Hamon is weird energy that people may make use of by managing their respiration. This energy gives them the Sun’s power. He may channel his Hamon to his Stand, Hermit Purple, using most of his objects. He can employ Hamon to carry out tremendous Overdrive assaults.
- Rebuff Overdrive: Joseph accuses Ripple of a strong blow in his elbows.
- Zoom Punch: Joseph employs Ripple, similar to that of his grandparent, to dislocate his arm and to hit the opponents more widely.
- Hamon Overdrive: In his arm, Joseph channels the Ripple and attacks it strongly. This gently passes the windstorm across the hit point, advancing it till it blows.
- Hamon Beat: Joseph attacks Ripple’s hand and hits his rival with a chop. This assault cannot damage Joseph even when he turns it towards himself, because the Ripple is his own.
- Secret Technique: He basically runs away. Enough said.
- Pigeon Kiss Overdrive: Joseph utilizes The Ripple to put a pill in the lips of some who jump when kissed and shot a pigeon.
- Hermit Purple
The stand of Joseph, an expression of his mind which may be utilized as a weapon. Hermit Purple is a mass of thorny vines wrapped around the hand of Joseph.
- Psychic Photography: Hermit Purple may take a picture of anything the person Joseph wishes to view at the time by breaking a camera. It might also display their films by watching a TV, reading your mind, showing what the goal is on a TV, or creating maps of Joseph’s whereabouts on the ground.
- Ripple Transmission: Hermit Purple also functions as a leader for Hamon, allowing Joseph to channel him via his stand and increase his attack strength.
- Grapple: Joseph can utilize Hermit Purple to take things and swing, and he can take opponents and trap them with this technique.
